Clitoris

The function of the clitoris is to give a woman sexual pleasure and help her reach orgasm. When stimulated, they fill with blood and swell, which can feel like an intense feeling of pleasure and ecstasy.

Not many people know that the clitoris is actually quite large on the inside. It has "legs" that run down the side of the vagina and encircle the urethra. These legs can be up to 9 cm long and are filled with nerve endings that make them very sensitive to touch and stimulation. The bones are called Crus Clitoris (Crus means bone in Latin), and are made of two swollen bodies of spongy tissue that fill with blood upon stimulation. (Corpus cavernosum is Latin for 'spongy body' - the two swollen bodies of a penis have the same name).
