Submission is the voluntary surrender of control and power to another person, usually in a sexual or romantic relationship. The submissive partner obeys and follows the orders, rules and wishes of the dominant partner. Submission can also involve accepting physical control, such as being tied up, whipped or otherwise influenced by the dominant partner.
